Update from the 5th joint congress of ECTRIMS and ACTRIMS held October 19-22 in Amsterdam.
Dr. Harris, Dr. Mueller, and Dr. Sadiq recently attended the joint triennial congress of the European and Americas Committees for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS and ACTRIMS). Topics covered in the congress included updates on B-cell targeted treatments, new cell therapeutic approaches, the role of neurodegeneration and mitochondria dysfunction in MS progression, identification of new biomarkers, and the latest research related to CCSVI in MS.
