RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
A laboratory research position is available immediately at the Multiple Sclerosis Research Center of New York (MSRCNY). The available position is at the level of Research Associate or Assistant Research Scientist, depending on experience of the applicant. Applicants should demonstrate their capabilities to work in any of the following specific areas with relevance to MS: (1) Immunology; (2) Glial biology; or (3) Myelin or lipid biology/biochemistry. Candidate will be expected to lead an independent research project, collaborate with other MSRCNY scientists, and train and supervise research technicians. Candidates should have a PhD with relevant postgraduate experience. Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and should demonstrate ability to work as a team.
